Mobile Imaging Brings Weekly PET-CT Services to Lower Hutt
Mobile Imaging is proud to announce the launch of its weekly PET-CT imaging service in Lower Hutt, now available every Friday at Ropata Health.
This new service brings cutting-edge diagnostic imaging closer to home for patients in the Hutt Valley and surrounding regions. Both public and private patients are welcome, with referrals open for the following scans:
- FDG PET-CT – for a wide range of oncology, neurology, and infection/inflammation indications
- Gallium-68 PSMA PET-CT – for prostate cancer detection and staging
- Gallium-68 Dotatate PET-CT – for the diagnosis and management of neuroendocrine tumours
- Diagnostic CT – high-quality imaging for a variety of clinical needs.
The introduction of Gallium-68 Dotatate PET-CT marks a significant advancement in the detection and treatment planning of neuroendocrine tumours, a rare and often difficult-to-diagnose group of cancers. This specialised scan offers improved accuracy and earlier diagnosis, supporting better outcomes for patients.
