The Mobile Imaging unit was officially blessed early this morning at Ellerslie, Auckland. The blessing was conducted by Kaumātua Eru Morgan.

There was also acknowledgement from Chief Executive of Mobile Health Group, Mark Eager of the great contribution and support from many people and organisations who have played a vital part in getting Mobile Imaging on the road for 2024. Accessible to both public and private patients, the mobile unit will be transported across New Zealand, providing mobile diagnostic technology in regions with high demand, and locations with limited access to a permanent facility.
“Mobile Imaging is about providing patients with accessibility and removing barriers such as travel expenses, or the inability to travel due to ill health. What region you reside in should not matter when accessing your PET-CT scan,” Mark Eager says.
