Blue September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month
Prostate cancer is New Zealand’s most diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in men. This year, an estimated 4,000 men across the country will receive a prostate cancer diagnosis.
Our partners at My Health Hub are hosting a webinar on Monday 30 September, 7PM – 8PM, presented by Wellington Consultant Urologist, Jim Duthie, and Chief Executive of the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ, Peter Dickens. They will cover the latest research and guidelines on screening and early detection, explore the diagnostic and treatment pathways, and outline the services available in the community for men and their whanau.
